The Dark Knight

Director - Christopher Nolan

Genre - Action/Crime/Drama/Mystery/Thriller

The caped crusader takes a deathly flight into unknown territory in this installment. The terrifyingly unpredictable element known as the Joker has brought Gotham down to its knees, making Batman go all out with new and improved artilleries of criminal destruction. More than just a superhero movie, 'The Dark Knight' as envisioned by Nolan is almost operatic in dimensions, with Bruce Wayne appearing humanly vulnerable yet craftily invincible. The late Heath Ledger gave a final, high-voltage performance which is something akin to if Lucifer was on LSD.

I think you hit the nail on the head in this very short review. I could never write paragraph reviews, I think it takes alot of talent to be able to restrict yourself and really choose the perfect words to say, which I somehow always manage to do the opposite and write way too much, haha. You are great with it though.

I just wanted to say hey and see what you thought of my reviews. Thanks.

A very good movie i must say. "Lucifer on LSD" - that really neatly sums up Ledger's remarkable turn.

I have to agree highly with this review, although at times I felt the movie dragging on. Heath Ledger's performance was amazing.

Glad to meet another Miike fan, not to mention Kurosawa. I will be keeping an eye out for your blog from now on.
