Once - Original Soundtrack

Music - Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová

Genre - Soundtrack

We don't usually do this but we're just so enamored with this film and its sensational music that we just couldn't not put this review up. We wanted to eat and breathe this soundtrack. Water it and take it to work and play. It has taken over our thoughts for now and made us pine for the times when we don't get to listen to its melodious, incredulously well written treasures. If you're hankering for something to take you away from badly penned works like the Pussycat Dolls' annoying, demeaning to women songs...well, grab this NOW and you'll wish all your CDs were hot like this!

5 STARS!

Couldn't have agreed more.
You should post their Academy Award performance to tie it even more to films ;)

Hey buddy, why have you slowed down on your film reviews? Hoping to see you back like it was earlier...

To tell you the absolute truth buddy, we're hit hard by the global economy crisis. You see, we're only doing this out of sheer love for cinema. But, as you know (or maybe you don't), love don't buy you bread. Or good films, for that matter.

Of course, we dream of one day watching all the movies we want to without any obstruction. Alas, we have other more pressing commitments and obligations.

All that said and done, we really appreciate your support and friendship through our rocky journey. Thank you. :)

I'm really sad to know that. Even if we don't agree all the time, I really like your reviews and regularly visit your site. I have developed a feeling as to what kind of movies you dig and what you don't - and that in a way has perhaps helped me have an understanding of you as well. And that makes me doubly feel for you.

I believe art lovers should be given an extra layer of protection (financial, that is) - cos they are the ones who keep the world rotating. But it doesn't matter what I think, does it? So I guess all I can say is that, I really hope things soon turn the better for you so that you can resume doing what you love doing with renewed vigour and passion.

Maybe sometime we can all have a smile thinking about this time of crisis over a glass of chilled beer. In the meantime, I wish you all the best!

We're deeply honored that you think of us in that way. Rest assured the feeling's mutual.

Well, maybe there IS one good thing which will come out of this though... Seeing that we're so strapped financially, you can be 100% sure that when we recommend a good film, it will be from the most sincere place. ;) Nothing like an emptied pocket to bring out the truth, eh? Similarly, when a film makes us regret the dough spent, you can bet our daggers will be out! :)
