In fact, during some moments in the film, it seemed as if Nixon and Frost were exorcising their inner demons.1minutefilmreviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809587879409604427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904006883321855933.post-74156273111088227512010-09-05T05:43:32.089-07:002010-09-05T05:43:32.089-07:00Good film. Watching the film I was struck that the interview was filmed like a boxing match as the two leads traded punches and Frost attempted to find an opening in Nixon's defense. Eventually the underdog finds a way through and secrures the victory.

I'm glad to hear that the film had some force over the otherside of the Atlantic too.jundistsClokehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07261769509914320972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904006883321855933.post-31119551807845405382010-09-02T07:22:14.216-07:002010-09-02T07:22:14.216-07:00It was good. :)It was good. :)1minutefilmreviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809587879409604427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904006883321855933.post-20334040778521803502010-08-27T04:13:14.685-07:002010-08-27T04:13:14.685-07:00Must give this a watch but 3 stars aint great.Must give this a watch but 3 stars aint great.Guy Phenixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00241901616429398498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904006883321855933.post-37725688750037151562010-08-24T08:34:55.318-07:002010-08-24T08:34:55.318-07:00Thank you for the compliment. It was gripping and even for us non-Americans who weren't really affected by Nixon's actions, the movie provided a rare intimate glimpse into the psyche of a former Head of State. What we came away with in the end was that he wasn't a crook nor was he a saint. He was human and prone to mistakes just like the rest of us.1minutefilmreviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809587879409604427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904006883321855933.post-84036084183104766662010-08-23T12:19:27.580-07:002010-08-23T12:19:27.580-07:00I too found Frost/Nixon as a reasonably good, comp...I too found Frost/Nixon as a reasonably good, compact film. The film's taut narrative & matter-of-fact approach, along with the fine performances by the 2 actors & the great dynamics between them, made the film quite a compelling watch. And the fact that I was already aware of the overview of the incident made the progression of events very gripping. Well written as always.Shubhajithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02040495040897333606noreply@blogger.com
