Relive your teenage years of acne-ravaged embarrassment, first love and painful harassment by moronic bullies in this Linklater classic. The film jumps right into the lives of high school kids eager to have some wild time when classes finish for the year. Like a rock rolling on a steep road, it just never lets up and the fluidity in which Linklater plans everything is amazing. It reminds us of 'Slacker' but elaborated and taken to a bigger arena. No 'Columbine-style' shootings or skinheads here. Just good ol' fun before AK47s and hand grenades entered the hallways of education.
